I made this Snickers French Toast on a lazy weekend when I was craving something ridiculous and comforting. It’s gooey, nutty, chocolatey, and definitely not something I’d eat every day—but wow, it hit the spot! The drizzle of caramel and those salted peanuts on top made it feel like dessert for breakfast in the best way.
Ingredients: French Toast
• 4 large eggs
• 3-4tbsp light brown sugar
• 125ml heavy cream (or sub for same quantity milk)
• 250ml whole milk (or any milk you like-including non-dairy)
• 1.5tsp vanilla extract or paste
• pinch of salt
• 1tsp espresso (optional for depth)
• 14 slices brioche bread
Ingredients: Snickers Flavor Additions
• 3tbsp creamy peanut butter (melted)
• 1/2 cup roasted salted peanuts (chopped)
• 5 snickers bars (chopped; alternatively use 1.5cup chocolate chips)
• 6tbsp caramel sauce

Process:
1.
Preheat oven to 200C (400F). Grease a 9x13 dish.
2.
Arrange first 7 slices of bread, slightly overlapping to cover the base. Scatter half of the chopped peanuts and snickers. Freeze the snickers bars for 30 minutes to chop easier. Next drizzle half the melted peanut butter and caramel sauce over the entire thing.
3.
In a large mixing bowl whisk eggs, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla, salt and espresso(if using) until smooth. Pour half of the mix all over the first layer of toast. Press gently a couple times to soak.
4.
Add the next 7 slices, slightly overlapping again. Drizzle caramel and peanut butter then scatter peanuts and snickers. Reserve a little bit of each to sprinkle on the top after bake.
5.
Pour the remaining custard and press gently with your hand again 2-3 times. Soak for at least 30 minutes on room temperature or in the fridge overnight.
6.
Bake 30-45 minutes until golden, puffed and set.
7.
Cool 10 minutes then drizzle the leftover caramel and peanut butter and garnish with peanuts and snickers or chocolate chips.

Serving + Storage Tips
• Best when served warm or at room temperature.
• Lasts 3-4 days in the fridge in an air-tight container. Make sure it’s fully cooled before storing to avoid sogginess.
• You can reheat it in a toaster oven, skillet or air fryer to bring back the crispy edge.
